Yeah. My 82 Yamaha XJ550 starter button is about to pop off. It´s held on by electrical tape. I´m just goint to order an aftermarket one from the motorcycle shop, but my buddy and I added another starter button on the side panel, high side of bike. We bought a doorbell button at the hardware store. Drilled the hole in the side panel. The starter is behind it and up a little. Attached the wires and so now I have 2 starter buttons. That´s one way.
