totally check the oil level and add oil accordingly. as for the oil type it, if you don´t know whats in there, i´d just do an oil change. especially since it´s winter now and you need a less viscous oil. 20w50 should be good for winter and 10w40 for summer.

owners manuals are relatively cheap and necessary if you are going to keep the bike around.
