my solenoid went completely bad and my bike wouldn´t even let me push start it. and boy did i try and try. it could be going bad as the solenoid is responsible for connecting the juice from the battery to the starter. i thought about going around the solenoid but i discovered it reduces the voltage amount so it´s a necessary part. as for the parts to connect with a screwdriver...when you look at the solenoid (take off the seat and its much much easier) the solenoid is a round unit that has two small bolts connecting wires from battery to starter. when you make the connection it should turn over. good luck. |
