when you really get on it the oil light comes on because of where the oil censor is. Ive had the similar trouble. You need to have the oil level to the very top of the level check window for this not to happen. As long as your light is going out shortly after youve stopped accelorating your fine and it was just do to the acceleration. yet still keep track of your oil level at all times for the v-max does seem to burn alittle bit
