The w r 426 f to me is one of the best desert bikes(if not the best) on the market today. One important feature on all bikes is the way it handles in its element.The 426 no doubt handles like a dream at high as well as low speeds.I had the opportunity once to ride a bike in the dez with a steering damper.I liked what I experienced so I slapped one on the W R. W R riders,a steering damper is a must on this bike. This damper works so well you could roost full throdle up sand washes with one hand(no exaggeration).This damper is fully adjustable for high and low speed hits. You can score this kit at Scotts performance products in the city of Montrose. It comes complete with a new top clamp , bars of your choice,(I got the the silver Doug Henry pro tapper)and of course the damper.The price is reasonable.If my comments sound like a sales pitch for the products I use,well I just like to pass on info. about after market parts that have made my W R kick more ass.
