Hoping someone has a moment to respond:

As I stated above the bike blew a fuse for some unknown reason. I lost all power. When I got home I took the battery out to charge it but unfortunately put the charge cables the wrong way around (only for a moment) there was a clicking sound.
Anyway, I replaced the fuse in the bike, and the battery appeared OK and when I put the positive cable on, smoke started coming out of the electrics.

Have I ruined the battery? I guess I have some serious electric probs.

Any suggestions welcome
