The Virago 250 is a great little scoot for around town, however touring is a different story anything 100-200 miles and you will find yourself very tired. The Virago 250 is a great bike for the beginning rider but you may find that long trips on it will beat you up so much that it will turn you off to motorcycling altogether (bad) limit your trips to 100 miles or so and you will be fine, but for true touring you will want something alittle bigger.
