Yes I had the same problem with mine. It sounds like a winding or like if the bike was powered by electricity. The dealer told me the same thing (it´s normal they just do that) I sold the bike last year and bought a brand new 1700cc Midnight Silverado 07 and love it and it´s quite. Good luck with yours.
