| Seems our 2005 V Star wont start. Wife let it set for about 4 months. Drained gas from tanks. Drained bowls. Runs on starting fluid, but won´t stay running. Sprayed carb cleaner in the bowls through the drain plug, hoping to clear some of the varish out, if that was the case. Charged battery, just in case. Cleaned filter. Gas flows out of petcock, though filter. Have spark. Doesn´t seem to get gas to the plugs. Do these things have a fuel pump? I hear a relay for a few seconds when I turn the key on. Any ideas? |
