I have had my v star 650 custom for 17 days and so far I love the ride. However, I have noticed that at times the gear shifter seems to feel quite tight when upshifting. It seems to get smoother after riding for a few more minutes. I am sure I am using the clutch correctly but I am beginning to wonder if this due to the bike not being warmed up enough before riding. Typically, I let the bike warm up for at least 5 minutes before even sitting on the bike.
Has anyone else noticed this issue?
