I have a 650 v-star classic with 23000 miles. It is such a great bike that I just can´t say enough good things about it. I think you will like either it or the 650 v-star custom better than the honda even though I love hondas. I would rather have the honda 750 than the yamaha 650 but I would rather have the yamaha 650 than the honda 600. I think I read where the honda only has 4 gears and it is hard on it to go much over 60 or 65. The v-star has 5 gears and will go 70 or 75 all day. The custom v star is lighter and easier to handle than the classic. For a woman maybe that would be better. I am planning on moving up to the new 950 v star. It´s even better but it is also 100 pounds heavier. Thanks...John
