My 2000 Vstar and my husbands 2010 Vstar both in one day,riding along just fine and mine started out of no warning to sputter and cut out and finally died. After a few minutes in the shade, it started up and 10 minutes later it did it again.

We barely got to a mechanic. My husbands 2010 is brand new, his started doing it hours later---I barely got it home.....

28 years ago I had a yamaha 3-wheeler and it did the same when the engine overheated---someone please tell me this is the problem because I will return the new one and never buy yamaha again.
