More info. about the wine in the 07 1300 v-star.A tech. at a dealership told me that the gearing for this transmission has a straight cut allowing more gearing meshing than the angle cut of the 1100 trans.With the 1300 you get less oil in the gears with the straght cut. thats were the wine comes from ( the tighter mesh)
