The speedometer has cables running through the bike that also need to be disconnected in order to take off the tank. Once you have the front seat off, under it is a black plastic panel. There are 3 snap clip thingies, you open them by pressing down the centre with a screwdriver. Then lift up that plastic panel, under it you´ll see a bunch of wires coming from under tank to a white terminal block - unplug this white terminal block. Also don´t forget to turn off fuel petcock and disconnect fuel line from tank :-) |
