It depends on your riding experience, and your plans for the bike. It was reccommened to me to go bigger for comfort and two up cruising. One other thing was brought to my attention and that was fuel injection for easier starting and better, smoother excelleration. I was comparing the V-star 1100 silverado, and the Honda vtx 1300. I added a third model after suggestions from many people and that was the Suzuki Boulevard C-90. My choice was the C-90 very comfortable, great power and the fuel injection is what everyone told me it would be.
