I was at the Yamaha Dealer in Thousand Oaks, California today 9-2-5 and was told by a Mechanic to purchase a Jarden Filter Kit. Cost is $300 Dollars. Its suppose to improve the Fuel Economy and Throttle response and most of all to make Oil Changes easier than having to take the Exhaust System Off. The mechanic told me the same thing that oil changes take too long and get expensive because of the placement of the oil filter..... I can´t help to wonder that Yamaha wants us to spend the money to make they´re job easier....Hmmmm
