The only drawbacks that I´ve found with my 2005 1100 Silverado are:
Lack of Fuel Gauge and Tachometer
Seems to run high r.p.m.´s on Interstate travel (65+ m.p.h.)
Otherwise, the bike handles very well, has great acceleration for an 1100 (formerly had a Vulcan Classic 1500). This Silverado sounds really nice with the Vance & Hines slip-ons that I added too.
