Oil Leak at front

I have a 2008 1100 V-Star. Just took bike out of storage after winter and discovered an oil leak from the upper front area just below gas tank. When I rode the bike, the oil dripped down on to the pipes at front. There is nothing in manual about oil in that area. I tried tightening a bolt where the leak seemed to be but still dripping. Any idea what that might be?
