It is not illegal to derestrict a 50cc on a CBT. That is if you are 17 or over. As long as the engine doesn´t produce over 125cc it is CBT learner legal, like I said as long as you are over 17 years old. If you are 16, then you are limited by law to 50cc maximum until your 17th birthday.
