thinking of getting one (TW200) - but need ´limited hiway use´ |

Hi... I´m just starting off with riding (taking class soon) and am considering getting a TW200 as my first bike. I´m ~6tf & ~170 lbs and find the nighthawk type bikes to be too crowded for me. Went to the Javits Motorcycle show this past week and sat on a few dual sports. I liked the TW200 (seemed to fit my frame), but am concerned about it´s usefulness on the highway. Not at first, but at some point i´d like to ride it to work... Would need to be on the highway for a little while (10-15 miles) and would have to go over a bridge (not BIG! but, it is still a bridge). Looking for any advice PS. I did see the posts about changing out the rear sprocket (so i could do that at one point)... but i´m mainly looking for whether or not i should even TRY to make this bike work for me (or get something bigger - cc wise..) |
