Well, the new ´05 yamahas are out! For the (USA) domestic market, the TW is basically unchanged, except the plastic that was WHITE on the ´04 model is now BLACK. Tank and frame are still liquid silver color and the rims are still black. Wonder who does their interior decorating....? (yuck- too much black)
Anyhow, while cruising their non-US markets website, I saw one country´s Yamaha offerings (Asia???) where a TW 225 was offered; yes, a 225 TW!!
It was all black too with I believe a metallic copper or red tank.
The tires on it if memory serves were similar street tires to the ones that Tim F. mentions above.
Couldn´t help wondering if the engine & trans is the same one offered in the Xt 225. The Xt has a 6-speed; and if you all are anything like me, you are frequently looking for 6th gear on the TW that doesn´t exist..
