TW de-restriction and rough running

Hi there,

I have just bought my girlfriend a 2001 TW125, it is her first road bike and she is planning on running it untill next year when she will then be old enough to do her ´direct access´.

I have 2 questions, firstly is the TW restricted in standard trim? If so, how do I de-restrict it?

Also, the bike takes a very long time to warm up and Idle, and its idle speed fluctuates quite severely. Ive stripped the carb down completely cleaned it all and re-built it. There was nothing untoward inside. When you start the bike it idles, fairly slowly for the first 5 seconds or so, then it starts to pick up slightly (maybe an extra 500 rpm)if you then blip the throttle the speed picks up, but doesnt drop back as far as the idle speed, it now idles at a higher speed. The throttle isnt sticking at all ive checked this.

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Scott
