Ticking noise??

I have an 03 TTR 225. Whenever the bike gets warm it makes a ticking noise. I added oil and it started to sound better for a little while. but then i went riding a little bit and it started again. I dont know a lot about bikes so im not sure what to do with it but i know it doesnt sound good. If anyone has any tips please e-mail me. Thanks -jake
