I purchased my 2001 Road King second hand and it has a stage 2 screaming eagle kit. It runs beautifully...except. It has a bad dry spot in the acceleration. If I gradually give it gas it performs nicely. If I try to rive it up or get on it in a tight...it wants to cough and spit. This bike runs great on the road...it´s the taking off that´s a little scary because of the hesitation. I haven´t taken it to a mechanic and wanted to have some information about it´s symptoms before hand. Any suggestions as to it´s problem?
