| Anyone notice any frame rust under there seat on the two triangles on each side of the fame welded to the down tubes? I have holes about the size of a quarter on each side. It looks like it may have started from the seat staples they are all rusted out, and do make contact with the frame at the location of the rust. It is a daily driver rain or shine 60k plus miles 2003 washed thoroughly every week. After battling the local dealers, with no help and then to the dealer it was purchased new from they contacted HD ad sent pictures. They said HD authorized them to replace the frame only if we paid the local dealer 3400 bucks to do the frame swap. This was coming from the dealer who said those are the only terms for getting the replacement frame. |
