If anyone else is offended by the "billboard" mounting location of the license plate, sticking up in the air behind the seat, an answer is a stainless steel license plate relocation bracket offered by Soft Brake ($40). It places the plate below the turn signal bracket. Only two small problems....it is a real p***er to install and, if you are concerned, you have to find a new way to light the plate. After installation I painted the top of my taillight lens flat black. Results are much better looking than stock. Why couldn´t Harley think of this?
