The vibrations, clicking, ticking, knocking and clunking are HD signature sounds. I guess its that retro thing, they want to sustain. The valve ticking is normal according to the guys in my HOG chapter. Sounds like a sewing machine.
Gear shifting sounds as based as the outdrive on my skiboat, kind of a big clunk. This is normal. Isn´t American bike engineering wonderful?
