Your comment on "valve ticking", is this common. This is my first Harley. It´s not necessarily objectional, I just want to be sure the engine is doing what it should. I did ride my son´s Deuce with V&H "Big Shots" exhaust that were so loud I did not hear the valves. Maybe my bikes to quiet. I´ve got V&H exhaust. What is common for noise on a gear shift?
