Shore King: I have owned many bikes (non-Harley). One and a half years ago I bought a Sportster just for the single man´s thrill of it (even though I am married, but the wife said she wasn´t interested in riding). Well, in two years I have taken her many places and she has decided she absolutely LOVES to ride. It´s the ride and all the comradery that goes with it at the end of the road. After 11,000 mileson the Sportster, a month ago, for her comfort, I bought a 2003 Road King (new one for $14,000). :-) I live in Korea (U.S. Army), and the bike is on the high seas now; I can´t wait til it gets here. Thanks for the words you wrote about your own experience with your Road King (mine is gunmetal pearl also, by the way); I hope I have the same experience you have with it -- PURE PLEASURE!!! Hope to meet you out on the road one day. By the way, where do you live? Woody :-)
