Never thought I would be a HD biker, but knew the value of a HD was good. Now I have 3! 1st:1977 FXS Lowrider 2: 2006 Buell Ulysses with all bags, 3: 1998 Electra glide Road King Classic. Just inherited the use of the 1998 last weekend. I was wondering if the carburater is very sensitive to altitude. IT was at 4000 ft and I live around 500 ft elevation. Issue is it was advised that 150 miles was the limit, but I ran dry on 2nd ride at 140 miles. Seems to idle a little rough. Just asking for advice from those who know the motorcycle better than I do, as I expect to do some adjusting if advised or accept it as it is, if advised. 3.5 gallon tank.
