As many must have said before the main drawback on the tmax is the small size of the tank and the mpg figures. I have travelled from kent to lincoln and also up to london with no problems. If carrying a passenger I would suggest having a back rest and extended foot rests. On the motorway the tmax performed well and at high speed it was easy to ride. I find that leaning a scooter as if it were a motorbike takes a bit of getting used to (also no clutch)but the tmax does inspire confidence.
