BTW I just installed a Power Commander V and I would recommend it even if you stay stock. Like all manufacturers, YAM also sells their bikes running lean to meet emissions. The backfire I hear everyone crying about went away on my 2008 and it runs smoother & stronger than stock. I do have a D&D and a K&N drop in, but I´d expect good things with a stock bike. I also have the Autotune, an EZ worthwile addition.
