The problem with this answer is that only Bridgestone makes the correct size in a radial. If you change tire sizes and/or switch off to a bias belt tire you have just turned into a test pilot. Yamaha spent a potload of money designing a bike that has excellent handling characteristics. If you make a change to the chassis, tires, wheels or suspension, don´t expect the results to be positive. If we were smart enough to outthink the mechanical engineers who design these things, we´d work for Yamaha. Dunlop was supposed to manufacture tires for the the Road/Strat but they have never released the rear tire, only the front. |
