I have a 2006 stratoliner with 13500 miles, love everything about it except the transmission. I drive at interstate speed a great deal of the time and the lack of a 6th gear has me turning 3200 rpm
at 70mph. At that rpm my gas milage drops, the motor begs for another gear. I have asked the dealer for any suggestions and he has none, have been unable to find a aftermarket 6-speed, or even a smaller rear drive sprocket, mayby 65 tooth, not the 70 thats stock.
Anyone else have this problem or have a solution?
