Can someone tell me what the normal operating coolant temperatures are for 2006 Yamaha Venture @ idle and normal riding operating temperatures. I have measured mine with a temperature gun and recorded 215 - 205 degress with the fan coming on and off at idle. At normal riding temperature I measured it as soon as I stopped @ 180 degrees. The time the fan kicks on is about 3 mins after I stopped. Air temperature was 89 degrees. Is this normal for a new motorcycle with 1400 miles on it.
