The bit about the transmission whine is Bull...t. Yes it makes a bit of a gear whine but it´s not even noticable. I´ve got over 13,000 miles on my ´05 and it hasn´t cost me one red cent. Put a tire on it at 10,000 miles. Would own another one without hesitation....great machine.
