How good are these bikes ´12 yamaha R S Venture

I´m about to purchase a ´12 Royal Star Venture for $4000. Has 25k miles, looks good, have to drive 400 miles to pick it up. My main concern is the 1300 adequate for such a large bike? Plus the wife and myself are 475 lbs. Thanks!
