both bikes are great. but you can find a better prices. I bought mine for 6500 (04 with 26000mi) great bike it has been like a trusted friend. It has brought me home in hurricane weather, tornado and heavy rain and has never missed a beat. the road star is a great machine and you will not be sorry you picked it.
