| My battery went dead. Push started my 2005 Yamaha Silverado 1700 which easily started in second gear. I noticed that my instrument panel including speedometer was not working at all. I kept riding for about 3 or 4 miles then my bike back fired several times and quit. I was trailered home. I put a new battery and the bike started no problem. Rode around for about an hour with no problems. Went for a ride today and everything seemed ok then after about 40 miles, the instrument panel stopped working and several miles later, more back fire and the engine quit and the battery is dead. Help!!??? |
