I purchased a new 2008 left over from my local dealer. first thing I did was have them change the exhaust between 600 and a thousand miles. They also added a Cobra fi2000r The bike sounds great but I am not sure if I lost a little power?? The biggest problem is that I was cruizing at around 50 mph and the bike just went dead. I got over to the side of the road shut it off and then tried to re-start it started right up. went a few miles it did it a second time. Drove about five miles back to the house after that and it didn´t happen again. Would an error code show up on the guages?? Or is that something that yamaha would have to put their diagnosis machine on! also I know the Cobra fuel / air maodual I thought should have said o2 at the end of the fi2000r? I paid for the 02 one which was more money but I don´t see 02 anywhere on the unit any chance that they installed the wrong one?? Thanks in advance!
