What is the mixture ratio?

My local shop told me to premix the 2-stoke fuel for my sons PW80. What is the oil to fuel ratio to mix? It seems to have lost power and sounds a little different than it did when I first got it. I wonder if this is a way to correct the problem? Thank You.
