Cable routing?

I replaced the upper throttle cable on my son´s PW50 and didn´t pay enough attention to the original routing. Can anyone describe the path it takes from the throttle grip, around or through the headset area, down to the split connector? I keep ending up too long or too short, or with a funky take off angle from the grip.
