What speed can the Majesty do?

I´m considering either the Majesty 400 or Yamaha 650 custom as a first-time bike. My husband and I ride a Yamaha Royal Star Venture and go on church rallies, etc. Would the Majesty 400 be able to keep up with the 65-70mph of the other bikers?
