| Givi Windscreen. I looked it up after you mentioned it and it is taller...750mm I think. With respect to hand protection from the flared at the handlebars aspect....around here all the safety books say I should be wearing gloves and they negate any wind effect on the hands anyway. I use sailing gloves for summer and bike gloves that stop all wind for winter or cooler. The reason according to the books is if you put one down..you can lose up to one pint of blood just from the abrasions to the palm of one hand and leather palms give´s you a sacrificial layer in case. I still like the idea of the Givi windshield and my do it just for the height but even at 70 mph when I put my hand at the top of the existing windscreen just above and behind it it doesn´t seem like any wind is there....so I´m not sure it matters. What was your experience at 70 mph before and after with wind over the top against you? Below that speed the original seems fine. Lance |
