I own a 2021 Yamaha 450 EPS and I’ve had problems with it overheating. It first started overheating when I had about 35 miles on it I bought it brand new off the showroom floor in Loveland Colorado. I took it to the dealer they could not get the machine to overheat and mimic the problems I was having so then I took it back and then a year later when I had time we took a camping again and we had about 88 miles from the beginning and it started overheating again I took it back to them they cannot re-create the problem of overheating and here we are going in circles and circles and circles back-and-forth back-and-forth they have to re-create the problem first I have a video of it overheating and it is so frustrating because it’s probably something simple I know there’s a lot of things that can go wrong with overheating it could be the thermostat it could be the radiator cap etc. Has anybody else experienced their newer ATV overheating because all the dealerships in Colorado are telling me that they’ve never seen a Yamaha 450 Kodiak overheating and what it does is right before it comes to a complete stop it sputters and then you cant turn on the machine so it sits for 15 minutes till it cools down and then you can start it up again the radiator is clean there’s fluid no fluid is leaking they hooked it up to a computer that looks for recalls also there’s no recalls on the fuel pump because the fuel pump had a recall in 2020 from my understanding and this one does not have a recall they put me a new spark plug and that didn’t seem to work obviously because it has nothing to do with overheating . Has anyone had similar experience with their units?
