Im looking for a replacement kick shaft for an 83 IT 250. The original design is dumb as the Kick shaft lever is made of cheap cast and is permanently fixed to the shaft so when it breaks you can´t just replace the broken piece, you have to replace the whole shaft. It almost looks like it was built to break. Thumbs down! My question is, is there another billet kick shaft assembly from a different bike that will work for this model? I found a replacement for this model on eBay but I would rather not go through this agin. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
