I have been a professional motorcycle mechanic working at Yamaha dealerships since 1978. I also own a heavily modified 1986 Fazer sporting a FZR 1000 engine, modern wheels,brakes,and suspension.
There is no such thing as a 1998 Fazer 750. This photo description is wrong. Yamaha quit building this model in 1987. Unless they continued selling the FZX out of the US.
