I have now had two fazers, one after the other, and was initially worried about the wrists. I have taken many very long trips, some in rain, and I have had no wrist problems. Actually had very comfortable trips, even long days. I would avoid rough roads though as I think that they would instill those aches. As far as thrills - you will NOT be disappointed. Note, I am 6´ tall and about 220. You may also try crampbusters so you do not grip too tight (and a taller windshield for those headwind days (I think they all are - LOL)).
