FZR 750 Japanese cut off at 180kph

Could anyone advice me on how to bypass the speed restrictor/limiter on the FZR 750 ´88 model, the bike cuts out at 180kph. I heard the Japanese have build in this limiter in the CDI box to limit the speed to max 180. Any advice please.
