Was the 1990 FZR1000 a limited edition bike?

I was wondering if the 90 FZR 1000 was a L.E. bike,the reason I ask is because awhile back I went to a motorcycle shop to buy a windscreen,and he told me the bike was a L.E. so parts may be hard to find,I´m just trying to see if he´s full of it,thanx.
